Thomas Humsel is a former German footballer who played as a midfielder for several clubs, including Borussia Dortmund. He was born on April 28, 1977, in Hamburg, Germany.
Humsel made his professional debut with VfB Stuttgart in 1995 and quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga. In 1998, he moved to Borussia Dortmund, where he would spend the next 14 years of his career.
